Simply dispense a thick line of gel that completely blocks any paths the ants might take to get to the feeder, such as poles or hooks. Make sure you don't leave any gaps in the line. One tube contains enough gel to protect 10 feeders. You can also use the gel for protecting any outdoor area from ants, such as patio tables, bird houses and hanging plants.
